Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sous Chef to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service during busy periods
- Supervise and support kitchen staff, including cooks and food production teams, fostering a positive and productive working environment
- Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Manage food safety protocols, including hygiene standards and proper storage procedures
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
- Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory management, and place orders as required
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations
- Contribute to menu development by suggesting new dishes or improvements to existing offerings

Experience
- Proven supervisory experience within a professional kitchen environment
- Extensive background in food production, cooking, and food preparation
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Experience working in hospitality or restaurant settings with an emphasis on customer service excellence
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, serving procedures, and culinary techniques
