Maintenance Technician – Residential & Commercial Properties
We’re hiring a Maintenance Technician to join our team and help take care of a mix of residential and commercial properties.
This is a hands-on, practical role for someone who enjoys fixing things, working with their hands, and keeping buildings running smoothly. You’ll be part of a supportive team but will also have the ability to work independently.
If you have experience in maintenance, construction, renovations, or general repair work, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Be Doing
- General building maintenance and repairs, including:
- Painting and drywall repairs
- Basic plumbing and electrical work
- General carpentry and small repairs
- Responding to work orders and maintenance requests
- Unit turnovers (preparing apartments for new tenants)
- Regular property checks and identifying repair needs
- Seasonal work such as snow removal, salting, and landscaping
- Keeping common areas and workspaces clean and organized
- Working with contractors when needed
- Communicating professionally with tenants and team members
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in maintenance, construction, renovation, or handy work (preferred but not required)
- Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
- Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
- Physically able to do hands-on work indoors and outdoors
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
