Construction Miner – Underground Water Management Program
Civiltek Limited is currently seeking experienced Construction Miners to join our team for an Underground Water Management Program at a mine site near Kirkland Lake, Ontario.
This is a rotational shift-work position (14-on/14-off) at a remote mine site. We are hiring candidates based in Sudbury and throughout Northern Ontario, and will consider applicants located within approximately 200 km of Kirkland Lake.
Successful candidates will be involved in the installation of underground water management infrastructure, including the installation of two Sturda Weirs, while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities
- Perform underground construction and mining activities in support of water management projects
- Assist with the installation of Sturda Weirs and associated infrastructure
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Read and follow project drawings, plans, and supervisor instructions
- Install, assemble, and secure underground structures and components
- Perform rebar work, scaling, material handling, and general underground labour as required
- Maintain compliance with site-specific safety procedures and mining regulations
- Conduct workplace inspections and hazard assessments
- Work effectively as part of a crew in a production-focused environment
- Complete required documentation and safety reporting
Qualifications
- Previous underground mining or underground construction experience is required
- Valid Underground Ontario Common Core modules required
- Experience working on mine development, construction, rehabilitation, or infrastructure projects
- Ability to work rotating shifts and travel to remote project sites
- Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in an underground environment
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Underground equipment operating experience is considered an asset
Preferred Experience
- Underground construction projects
- Bulkheads, water management systems, or underground infrastructure installations
- Mine services work
- Industrial construction in mining environments

Pay: $35.00-$60.00 per hour
