We are hiring a SHOP HAND (Mechanic Helper) for our maintenance team in Winnipeg!

We are looking for an organized and self-motivated individual to work 10-hour shifts, from Monday to Thursday.
Job Duties:
- Assists shop team with any required tasks.
- Help mechanics with simple repairs.
- Ensures organization and cleanliness of shop and yard.
- Follow detailed instructions, processes, and procedures.
- Tasks are not limited to the above and other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Qualifications:
Experience in shop environment considered an asset.
Mechanically inclined.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment, while acting to attain organizational goals.
Excellent verbal communication.
Safety conscious.
Valid Driver’s Licence considered an asset.
Effective time management skills, to ensure tasks and responsibilities are completed on time.
Operate with little supervision.
Ability to work safely while lifting and carrying heavy objects.
