Your Opportunity!
Knollcrest Lodge is recruiting for a Part-Time Dietary Aide to join our team in Milverton. In this role, you will report to the Food Services Manager. An option exists to pick up Cook shifts or additional Dietary Aide shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve meals and beverages to residents according to specific care plans and dietary needs
- Set tables in dining area, ensuring food is served at the correct temperature and in compliance with food safety standards
- Clean, sanitize, and properly store kitchen utensils and dishware after each meal service, following infection control and sanitation protocols
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines
- Other duties, as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Current Safe Food Handling Certificate
- Previous experience working in Long Term Care setting is an asset
- Ability to read and write in English, and understand verbal and written instructions in English
- Strong team player with the ability to cooperate with colleagues and department heads
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with other colleagues
