WORK SCHEDULE
This is a full-time position based out of Delisle, Saskatchewan. Due to the nature of railway operations, the successful candidate must be available to work extended hours, overtime, weekends, and emergency callouts as operationally required. Regular travel throughout Saskatchewan is required.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
This position is based in Delisle; however, travel throughout the Last Mountain Railway (LMR) and Big Sky Rail (BGS) territory is required, as operationally needed.

POSITION SUMMARY
The 1A Truck and Skid Steer Operator is responsible for transporting materials and safely operating equipment in support of railway maintenance and construction activities. This position plays an important role in track rehabilitation, crossing maintenance, and general infrastructure projects throughout MobilGrain's railway network.

The successful candidate is comfortable operating equipment, willing to travel, and works well both independently and as part of a crew. They are adaptable to changing operational needs and are prepared to assist with a variety of railway maintenance activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:
· Safely operate a skid steer and other assigned equipment in support of railway maintenance and construction projects.
· Operate a Class 1A truck to transport equipment, materials, and supplies to and from job sites.
· Assist with track rehabilitation, crossing maintenance, grading, tie replacement, and other railway maintenance activities.
· Perform daily equipment inspections and report mechanical defects or maintenance requirements.
· Load, unload, secure, and transport equipment and materials safely.
· Complete required vehicle inspections, logs, and documentation.
· Follow company safe work practices, policies, and procedures.
· Work safely around heavy equipment, rail traffic, and active construction sites.
· Assist with general labour duties as required.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Experience
· Basic operating experience is required.
· Minimum two (2) years of skid steer operating experience preferred.
Skills
· Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and safe work practices.
· Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
· Mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform basic equipment inspections.
· Strong communication and teamwork skills.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Ability to travel throughout Saskatchewan as operationally required.
· Ability to work a flexible schedule, including extended hours, overtime, weekends, shift work, and emergency callouts.
· Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
· Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and working on uneven terrain.
Employment Requirements
· Valid Class 1A driver’s license.
· Clean driving record and insurability under the Company's vehicle insurance policy.
· Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
