The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of restaurant experience in food prep and customer service, enjoy working in a busy environment and be able to take direct instruction. The Server is responsible for supervising other servers and assisting in the efficient running of the restaurant. Proficiency in English is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
- Work the dining room floor to ensure that customers are being served with a good experience.
- Ensure that all food is prepared properly and correct any mistakes that occur in the kitchen.
- Perform the duties of runners and bussers during their shift.
- Manage the wait staff to meet service and productivity standards.
- Follow all health codes, regulations, and policies.
- Excellent time management skills
- Able to multitask and prioritize tasks in a busy atmosphere.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
- Ensure food service and quality control
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Maintain records of stock, sales and wastage
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
- Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
- Have positive energy to working environment and excellent customer service skills
