Responsibilities
- Provide academic advising and support to students to help them succeed.
- Facilitate workshops and seminars on study skills, time management, and career planning.
- Collaborate with faculty advisors to develop student success initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with students, and staff to foster a supportive environment.
- Promote a positive campus culture that encourages engagement and achievement.
- Coordinate wellness promotion initiatives.
Qualifications
- Degree in Social Work and registration with the Ontario College of Social Service Workers.
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
- Working knowledge of local community and third-party resources.
- Must have a good understanding of the issues faced by students.
- Good interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
Hours of Work
This position is a part-time contract opportunity. Flexibility will be required in order to meet business needs.
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
