CoCo Bubble Tea Scarborough is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Part-Time and Full-Time Tearista/Barista to join our vibrant team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic food service environment, preparing delicious bubble tea beverages and providing exceptional customer service. Ideal candidates are passionate about the food industry, possess strong time management skills, and enjoy engaging with customers. Prior barista experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure you excel in your role. Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of bubble tea beverages according to company recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Serve customers with friendly and efficient service, ensuring their satisfaction
- Manage food preparation tasks such as ingredient assembly and drink customization
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in all work areas
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed
- Uphold food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming environment and promote our products
Skills
- Experience with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Previous barista or food service experience preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Effective communication skills to interact with team members and customers effectively
