Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Hydrovac Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a hydrovac truck, must have a valid class 3 or class 1 license and be able to perform excavation, potholing, and utility work in a variety of construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of the hydrovac industry, safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in dynamic environments. The Hydrovac Operator plays a critical role in ensuring precise excavation while maintaining safety standards on-site.
Duties
- Operate hydrovac trucks for excavation, potholing, and utility installation tasks with precision and safety.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Coordinate with project managers and crew members to execute excavation plans efficiently.
- Conduct thorough assessments of work areas to identify potential hazards before operation.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and equipment usage.
- Follow all safety guidelines related to construction site protocols, and environmental regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating hydrovac trucks.
- Valid commercial driver’s license.
- Prior experience in construction or related industries is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures in construction environments.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Pay: From $38.00 per hour
