Summary
We are seeking a skilled Class 1 Lowboy Driver to join our team at Pidherney's Inc. Based in Blackfalds, AB, this role is essential for transporting equipment safely across various project sites. Your contributions will be vital in supporting our operations and maintaining our reputation for reliability.
Responsibilities
- Transport materials and equipment to designated locations safely and efficiently.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and deliveries.
- Assist with loading and unloading freight as required.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and project managers regarding delivery schedules.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required, wit two years verifiable experience.
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures is an asset.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment.
- Willing to work out of time when needed.
- Valid First Aid, H2S, and CSO certificates.
