As a prominent figure in the propane and equipment supply industry, we take immense pride in our legacy and are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Propane Delivery Driver.
We're in search of a committed candidate to become part of our in-town propane delivery operations. Your role will involve ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of propane to refill our valued residential and commercial customers cylinders and storage tanks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough daily pre-trip inspections of vehicles, accompanied by comprehensive job hazard assessments and other field-level evaluations.
- Maintain accurate records by consistently logging distribution sheets, work orders, and invoices.
- Collaborate closely with our dispatch and operations managers to coordinate daily deliveries and other tasks effectively.
- Execute prompt and secure deliveries of propane and other equipment, adhering unwaveringly to safety protocols and company/customer regulations.
- Radiate the positive character of Mutual Propane Ltd, both in your interactions with personnel and customers.
- During winter operations, overtime and weekend work is readily available.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must possess either a Class 3 or Class 5 Operator's license with Air Brake endorsement.
- Previous experience in propane delivery or handling is advantageous.
- Familiarity with operating a picker, bulk, or large delivery truck is a considered an asset.
- Additional essential training will be provided in-house as necessary.
