A good number of our clients are located in SW Calgary (Patterson Hills, West Springs, Signal Hill, Wentworth). This would be ideal for someone who lives in the SW Calgary area,
The position would be great for Uniiversity or College students wanting a summer position that they can come back to each summer.
Position: ** Start Work Immediately **
Lawn Care Maintenance Crew Member
- Great learning experience and summer position for students (University/College/SAIT etc)
· Part-Time position
- Estimating the hours to be 20 to 40 hours per week
· Able to work Monday - Friday
- Rate of Pay indicated below and depends on the level of experience
Specific Job Responsibilities:
We work in the residential communities of Patterson Hills, West Springs, Signal Hill, Aspen Estates, as well as NW and SE Calgary.
Mostly cutting residential grass and lawns with some related work in the following (as required):
- Mowing and trimming grass for residential yards
· Fertilizing lawns
· Weeding garden areas
· Trimming shrubs
· Raking leaves
· General yard clean-up
General Job Responsibilities:
· Work as part of a team and also independently
· Follow instructions and have a good eye for details
· Maintain high work quality and be efficient
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
· Focus on excellent customer service.
· Ability to work in all weather conditions
Personal Requirements:
· Show up at work on time
· Must have reliable transportation to get to work
· Physically fit and be able to lift up to 50 pounds to waist height
· Positive attitude
· Reliable and hardworking
· Good oral communication skills
· Lawn care experience in operating gas mowers and gas trimmers would definitely be an asset
· Must have a valid driver’s licence with a clean abstract would be an asset
- Experience driving a 1/2 ton pick up truck would be an asset
