Part-Time ISA Certified Arborist (Winnipeg, MB)
Maples YardWorks is seeking a part-time ISA Certified Arborist to join our team in Winnipeg. We’re looking for a skilled professional to provide safe and high-quality tree care services on residential and commercial properties.
This is a flexible, part-time position.
This position is the best fit for someone who is already working a full time position and is looking for extra hours on weekends and/or evenings.
Responsibilities
- Perform tree assessments and make professional recommendations for pruning, removal, or treatment
- Carry out safe and efficient tree trimming, pruning, and removals
- Operate and maintain chainsaws and climbing gear
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and ISA standards
- Assist with training and supervising crew members in proper tree care techniques
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with clients
Requirements
- Must be ISA Certified Arborist (International Society of Arboriculture) in Manitoba
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites (Winnipeg/Maples area)
- Experience with climbing and aerial lift operations an asset
- Physically fit and able to work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of tree biology, pruning standards, and safe work practices
- Punctual, dependable, and safety-focused
Compensation
- $50-60 per hour, depending on experience and certifications
- Part-time hours, flexible schedule (approx. 15-25 hours per week to start)
