Disability Support Worker
Location: Kingston, ON Pay: $22.00/hour starting wage (up to $25.00/hour)
Position Type: Casual / Part-Time Schedule: Flexible shifts available including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and overnight sleep shift (19h/$150flat)
About the Position: I am an independent wheelchair user seeking reliable, respectful, and compassionate attendants to join my home support team through Ontario's Direct Funding Program. This position involves assisting me with daily living activities in my home and community. No formal experience is required for the right candidate. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities: -Meal preparation and nutrition support -Grocery shopping and errands -Light housekeeping and laundry -Personal care and hygiene assistance -Dressing and grooming support -Mobility and transfer assistance -Orthotic and bracing support -Community outings and appointments -Exercise and wellness support -Companionship and social support -Assistance with three cats as needed
Qualifications: -Reliable and dependable -Respectful and trustworthy -Comfortable learning new skills -Strong communication skills -Able to adapt to changing support needs -Comfortable working independently -Valid driver's license is an asset but not required -Previous caregiving experience is an asset but not required
Additional Information: My health can be unpredictable, so flexibility and willingness to adapt are important. I am looking for people who are supportive, non-judgmental, and able to follow direction while helping me maintain my independence.
