Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product displays are attractive, well-stocked, and organized across retail locations. This role requires excellent communication skills, a keen eye for merchandising details, and the ability to engage customers effectively. Bilingual abilities and experience in retail sales or technology sales are highly valued. The Merchandiser plays a crucial role in enhancing the shopping experience, driving sales, and maintaining strong relationships with store staff and customers.
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain product displays to maximize visual appeal and sales potential
- Restock shelves and ensure inventory accuracy using POS systems
- Conduct product demos and provide technical information to customers when necessary
- Assist with cashiering duties including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Engage with customers to provide exceptional customer service, answer questions, and upsell products
- Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled shifts
- Maintain organized merchandising areas and ensure compliance with company standards
- Communicate effectively with store staff regarding stock levels, promotions, and display updates
- Utilize phone etiquette skills to coordinate with team members and respond to inquiries professionally
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales, merchandising, or technical sales is preferred
- Multilingual or bilingual skills (especially English) are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases
- Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail are essential
- Ability to demonstrate product features through demos and explain technical details clearly
- Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during shifts
- Customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Knowledge of POS systems, cashiering procedures, and retail operations is advantageous
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $38,400.00-$42,000.00 per year
