Job description:
We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. You will play a key role in supporting our Pest Control operations, working with Pest Control Technicians, Sales Associates, and the Office Administration teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work both on independent projects and on a team.
Responsibilities:
· Scheduling
· Managing the schedules for the Operations team
· Billing, AR
· Answering & directing calls in a friendly, and helpful manner
· Performing office functions & ensuring daily tasks are completed
· Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery
· Staying updated on industry trends, pest control techniques, and safety protocol
· Other office duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in office administration (required)
- Mac based computer knowledge (Pages & Numbers)
- Strong knowledge of general office procedures
- Strong sales skills to effectively communicate services to clients and promote additional treatments as needed
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while managing time effectively
- Must have a valid BC Driver’s License and be able to reliably commute to the office location in Cobble Hill, BC, or plan to relocate before starting work if not close enough for daily commuting
- Willingness to undergo any necessary training or certification as required
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Education: Secondary School (preferred)
- Language: English (required)
Pay: $18.07-$26.32 per hour
