Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic / 1st–3rd Year Apprentice

Scorpion Oilfield Services Ltd. is a locally based oilfield production services company in Lashburn, Saskatchewan. We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic or 1st–3rd Year Apprentice to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy-duty equipment in a timely manner
- Perform diagnostics using computerized and manual tools
- Repair or replace defective components using hand and power tools
- Test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and manufacturer compliance
- Complete routine and preventative maintenance
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic, electronic, and mechanical systems
- Solid mechanical aptitude and knowledge of repair procedures
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Safety-focused with a solid understanding of safe work practices
- Positive attitude with the ability to work independently or on a team
Qualifications:
- Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic certification or 1st–3rd Year Apprentice
- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s license with a clean abstract
- Valid safety tickets (or willingness to obtain):
- H2S Alive
- Standard First Aid & CPR
- Confined Space Entry & Monitor
