Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Carpenter to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice looking to continue developing their skills in a hands-on environment. Red Seal certification is not required, but candidates with residential or commercial construction experience will be given preference. We are committed to supporting career growth and are willing to sponsor the right candidate through their carpentry apprenticeship program.
Duties
- Perform general carpentry duties including but not limited to framing, finishing, and renovations
- Support cabinet installation, flooring installation, tile laying, siding, roofing, and siding projects
- Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment safely and effectively
- Support heavy lifting and material handling to ensure efficient workflow on-site
- Aid in the assembly of structural components and fixtures for various projects
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety standards at all times
- Collaborate with team members on site to ensure timely completion of projects
Experience
- Prior experience in carpentry or related trades is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Red Seal certification not required; 2nd or 3rd Year Carpentry Apprentice preferred
- Experience in residential and/or commercial construction
- Candidates with relevant construction experience who are interested in pursuing an apprenticeship are encouraged to apply
- Finishing carpentry experience
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required
- Physically capable of lifting materials and working in various weather conditions
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces as needed
- Strong attention to detail with good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new skills in the construction industry

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
