About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Working Site Supervisor to join our growing team. This role is 100% overnight work, with shifts typically running from 30 minutes before store closure (e.g., 9:00 PM) to 6:00–7:00 AM, Sunday night through Friday morning, and some weekends depending on the project.
You’ll lead and work alongside a crew while managing trades on-site to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient execution of projects across Ontario. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in night work and enjoys a fast-paced, retail renovation environment.

We are a trusted construction partner for major grocery retailers across Ontario. With over 20 years in the business, we specialize in fast-turnaround retail renovations—like front-end replacements, shelving changes, and beer/wine installations—often completed in just 1 to 3 weeks.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and actively participate in retail construction projects
- Coordinate and oversee trades (electricians, plumbers, floor installers) and internal crew
- Read and interpret floor plans and blueprints
- Manage overnight work schedules to align with store closure and reopening timelines
- Ensure site safety, cleanliness, and compliance with project standards
- Solve issues on-site quickly and effectively
- Communicate clearly with crew members, trades, and project leaders
- Represent the company professionally and respectfully
Schedule & Travel
- Overnight shifts only (approx. 8:30 PM – 6:30 AM)
- Sunday night to Friday morning, with occasional weekend work depending on project scope
- Frequent out-of-town travel across Ontario (e.g., Windsor, Ottawa, Thunder Bay)
- Travel time is paid if using a company vehicle
- Reimbursement for mileage or gas if using your own vehicle
Qualifications
- Construction experience required – retail construction is a strong asset
- Ability to read floor plans and blueprints
- Comfortable supervising and working alongside a small team
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Must be punctual, responsible, and reliable – our work happens on strict timelines
- Willingness to work overnight shifts and weekends as needed
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Own tools preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license
- Safety certifications (WHMIS, Working at Heights, etc.) are a plus
What We Offer
- $35–$50/hour depending on experience
- Paid overtime after 44 hours/week
- Paid travel time (with company vehicle) or gas/km reimbursement (if using own vehicle)
