Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to pets, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process. Duties
- Bathing, drying, and brushing pets to prepare them for grooming
- Trimming, clipping, and styling fur according to breed standards or customer requests
- Cleaning ears, trimming nails, and performing other basic grooming tasks
- Monitoring pets during grooming for signs of distress or health issues
- Maintaining a clean and sanitized grooming area and tools
- Providing excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about grooming needs and preferences
- Handling heavy lifting when necessary, such as lifting larger or heavier animals safely
- Ensuring the safety and comfort of pets throughout the grooming process
Qualifications
- Prior experience in pet grooming or related animal care is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to handle animals gently and effectively, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Physical strength and stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills to interact with pet owners and team members
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
