Spectrum Safety Services is growing and is looking for experienced, professional Safety Training Instructors to join our team.
We deliver a busy schedule of in-house courses at our Edmonton training facility and provide on-site training for workplace clients throughout the Edmonton area.
We are looking for instructors who are confident leading a room, bring strong industry knowledge, and are committed to delivering practical, professional safety training.
The Role
As a Safety Training Instructor, you will deliver training in one or more of the following programs:
- H2S Alive
- Confined Space Entry
- Fall Protection
- Common Safety Orientation
Applicants must hold current instructor certification in one or more of the programs listed above.
Spectrum provides onboarding, training on Spectrum systems and processes, and ongoing support.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver engaging, practical safety training to adult learners
- Create a professional, organized, and respectful learning environment
- Ensure all required course documentation is complete and accurate
- Prepare and maintain training rooms, equipment, and course materials
- Deliver courses at our Edmonton training facility and at off-site client locations
- Follow program requirements and Spectrum course standards, processes, and quality expectations
What You Bring
- Current instructor certification in H2S Alive, Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection, Common Safety Orientation, or a combination of these programs
- Previous experience teaching, facilitating, coaching, or leading groups
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Confidence leading groups and explaining safety content clearly
- A professional, approachable, and reliable teaching style
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle for off-site course delivery
- Clear criminal record check
Schedule and Location
Applicants must have:
- Regular weekday daytime availability
- Weekend availability
- Ability to deliver training at our Edmonton facility and off-site client locations throughout the Edmonton area
Compensation
Compensation will be discussed during the interview process and will reflect the candidate’s certifications, experience, and availability.
