Summary
We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Shop Assistant to join our dynamic retail team. In this role, you will be the friendly face of our store, providing exceptional service to customers while assisting with product presentation, sales, and checkout procedures. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help create a welcoming shopping environment that encourages repeat visits and boosts sales. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs, ensuring a positive experience.
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments.
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays through effective merchandising techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
- Upsell complementary products and promote ongoing promotions to enhance customer satisfaction and store revenue.
- Keep the store organized by restocking shelves, managing inventory, and ensuring cleanliness.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining professional phone etiquette.
Skills
- Multilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively.
- Proven experience in retail sales or technology sales, with the ability to demonstrate products confidently.
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual skills are a plus for engaging a broader customer base.
- Experience with product demos, merchandising, POS systems, and cashiering procedures.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing inventory counts.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer service orientation paired with effective time management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to upsell products tactfully while maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor.
