Position Overview
We are hiring Red Seal Journeyperson Electricians for industrial project work at sites across Western and Northern Canada. Our work includes electrical construction, upgrades, and maintenance support at operating industrial facilities and project sites.
This role is well suited for electricians who enjoy challenging industrial environments, working as part of a professional crew, and delivering quality work safely and efficiently.
Types of Work & Sites
Project work may include electrical scope at:
- Mines and mine infrastructure
- Transportation and material handling facilities
- Packaging and processing facilities
- Natural gas facilities and pipeline sites
- Pulp mills and forest products facilities
- Other industrial and resource-sector projects
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and modify electrical systems on industrial project sites
- Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and specifications
- Perform work in compliance with Lakewood Electric safety policies and site requirements
- Coordinate with supervisors, project managers, and other trades
- Troubleshoot electrical issues as required during construction or commissioning
- Complete required documentation, hazard assessments, and job reports
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
Required Qualifications
- Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician
- Industrial electrical experience (construction and/or maintenance)
- Validdriver’s licence
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safe work practices
- Ability to work well in a team environment and independently when required
- Professional, reliable, and safety‑focused approach to work
Assets (Nice to Have)
- Mine or heavy industrial experience
- Experience in operating industrial facilities
- Controls, instrumentation, or panel wiring experience
- Elevated Work Platform, Fall Protection, Electrical Safety Training
- Experience working on remote or resource‑sector sites
Work Locations & Accommodations
- Project sites across Western & Northern Canada
- Work may be local or require travel depending on the project

Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Pay Package (Journeyperson):
- Base wage: $43.87 / hour
- Vacation / Holiday Pay: $5.42 / hour
- RRSP Contribution: $4.75 / hour
- Total Package: $54.04 / hour
