Job Summary
Studio 66 is seeking an experienced and passionate Hairstylist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in hair styling, excellent customer service skills, and a professional attitude. This role offers an opportunity to showcase creativity, build lasting client relationships, and contribute to a fun salon environment. The Hairstylist will be responsible for providing high-quality hair services, maintaining sanitation standards, and supporting retail sales initiatives. Commission based. Clientele is an asset but not required.
Duties
- Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, colour, highlights, treatments, and special styles tailored to client preferences
- Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and providing personalized recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all tools, equipment, and workstations in accordance with health regulations
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and processing payments
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure a positive experience and foster loyalty
Experience
- Proven experience as a hairstylist in a professional salon setting
- Strong skills in hair cutting, coloring, styling, and chemical treatments
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with clients and team members
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols in a salon environment
