Please note: This position is intended for candidates with a proven track record in outbound sales. Applicants who do not meet the minimum experience requirements will not be considered.
About the Role
As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for managing an assigned territory, growing distribution, increasing sales, and building long-term relationships with retail and on-premise customers.
This is a relationship-driven, field sales position that requires initiative, strong business development skills, and the ability to identify new opportunities while maintaining existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow sales within an assigned territory by achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Prospect and secure new business opportunities across retail and on-premise accounts.
- Build strong relationships with customers through regular account visits and exceptional service.
- Present and sell our portfolio of premium wine, spirits, and RTD brands.
- Execute merchandising, promotional, and display opportunities to maximize brand visibility.
- Analyze customer needs and recommend product solutions that drive mutual success.
- Maintain accurate sales reporting and territory planning.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of proven outbound sales experience with a demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong business development and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Highly organized with strong time management skills.
- Self-motivated, driven, and comfortable working independently.
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within the wine, spirits, beer, or beverage alcohol industry is a strong asset.
- Existing relationships within the retail or hospitality sectors are considered an advantage.
- WSET or other beverage industry certifications are beneficial but not required.

Pay: $48,000.00-$66,000.00 per year
