KW Tree Barber Inc. is an Waterloo Region based tree service providing exceptional residential and commercial tree care for over 20 years.
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Climbing Arborist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient removal, pruning, and maintenance of trees using climbing techniques and specialized equipment.
Duties
- Climb trees using industry-standard safety equipment to perform pruning, removal, or installation tasks
- Utilize rigging techniques to control the fall of large branches or trees during removal processes
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities including trimming, shaping, and health assessments of trees
- Assist with general landscape maintenance tasks to support overall site aesthetics and health
- Perform equipment inspections and maintain tools used for climbing, rigging, and bucket operation
Requirements
- Proven experience as a climbing arborist or in a similar tree care role with knowledge of rigging and horticulture practices
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and horticultural principles
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to climbing, rigging, and heavy equipment operation
- Physical fitness to climb trees, lift heavy loads up to 50 pounds, and work at heights for extended periods
- Valid G driver's license required (DZ pererrered)
- Access to reliable personal vehicle to get to jobsite each day is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, the ability to follow directions and work well within a team environment

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
