Busy, Langley based, 3PL warehousing & transportation company is looking for the right person to help take our brokerage division to the next level. The candidate would be responsible for working hand-in-hand with dispatch & sales rep to to cover freight opportunities not able to go on our fleet. The need for outstanding carrier & customer follow-up to ensure expectations are being met is key!
Previous experience in the transportation/brokerage is preferred, but we're open to related experience for the right candidate. Growth opportunities available for the right individual that stands apart. The position is a base salary plus commission and salary is negotiable for the right candidate who has a broad network of carriers with solid relationships already in place.
Must Haves:
- Self-motivated individual, driven to succeed
- Comfortable with rate negotiation
- Solid computer literacy important
- Great customer service via phone and email
- Strong command of spoken & written English
- Need own transportation as there is no public transit to our offices
- Bonus points for having the ability to stay calm & positive under pressure!!
