MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:
· Current Registration in the extended class in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
· Master’s degree in Nursing or equivalent
· Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Ontario
· Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support
· Current CPR
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· Demonstrated commitment to continuous education
· Ability to work in a team environment with excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills in both written and verbal
· Ability to identify, develop and lead the successful implementation of best practice skills in the provision of clinical care
ASSETS:
· Minimum of 4 to 7 years of diverse clinical and nursing leadership experience
· “Certificate in Hospital & Acute Care for Nurse Practitioners” from the University of Toronto, or equivalent
· Bilingual – English/French
SALARY RANGE:
· $73.56 – $83.08per hour
