Job Description:
Heavy Duty Journeyman Mechanic required with CVIP License
Duties:
Performing scheduled checks on all of the Terroco transport trailer vehicles
CVIP Inspections
Ensuring regular service and maintenance schedules are followed
Maintaining accurate service records
Coordinating with the parts department for spare parts and other repair equipment
Testing equipment for functionality
Repairing as required
Requirements:
Physically fit, capable of lifting and carrying heavy, awkward objects
Experience in Heavy Duty Mechanics
Maintain a valid driver’s license
Mechanical aptitude, ability to diagnose/repair vehicles and equipment
Ability to work productively unsupervised
Complete daily assignments on time
Self motivated, self directed, has own tools, CSA approved work boots
Team player, respectful of others, solid work ethic
Ability to organize and accomplish workload efficiently, safely and independently
Adequate tool selection for Heavy Duty Mechanic
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
