PARC Retirement Living is an award-winning developer and operator of independent senior-living communities. We’re seeking an exceptional Junior Accountant to join our Corporate Services team in Downtown Vancouver.

As a Junior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial information across the organization. This includes:
- Prepare and record journal entries, including assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses
- Assist with monthly and annual internal and external financial reporting
- Process invoices and employee expense reports, ensuring proper documentation and approvals prior to payment
- Reconcile vendor statements, investigate discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards
- Perform bank reconciliations by verifying, allocating, and reconciling transactions
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

- Diploma in Business with a focus or strong interest in accounting, or equivalent related work experience
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with basic computer applications
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Experience with Yardi Voyager and Elevate is considered an asset
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to assess risks and identify opportunities
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with change and ambiguity
- Resilient, resourceful, and creative in approaching challenges
