Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Barista All-Rounder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, smoothies and pastries and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies
- Take customer orders and provide excellent customer service
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning equipment and utensils
- Follow food safety and handling procedures to ensure the quality and safety of products
- Assist with food preparation, such as making sandwiches or paninis, etc…
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
Qualifications:
- Smart serve certified is a must
- Previous experience in food service or customer service is preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling is a plus
- Strong math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
