Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Mobile Dog Groomer to provide professional grooming services directly at clients' locations. This role offers the flexibility to work in various environments, bringing grooming expertise directly to pet owners. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the physical ability to handle the demands of mobile grooming.
Duties
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, trimming, haircuts, and nail clipping on dogs of all sizes at client locations
- Ensure the safety and comfort of pets throughout the grooming process
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools and equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about grooming needs and aftercare instructions
- Manage appointments efficiently, ensuring timely arrival and departure from each location
- Handle heavy lifting of grooming equipment, pet supplies, and occasionally larger dogs with care and safety protocols in place
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dog grooming or related pet care fields is preferred but not required; training can be provided for the right candidate
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to lift heavy objects such as grooming tubs, equipment, or large dogs safely and comfortably
- Passion for animals and a genuine interest in providing high-quality pet care services
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel between client locations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining excellent service standards
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.20-$35.87 per hour
