We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Site Supervisor to join our growing team.
Position Summary
The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of residential construction projects, ensuring homes are built safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will coordinate trades, suppliers, inspectors, and subcontractors while maintaining strong communication with homeowners, consultants, and project management.
Responsibilities
- Manage all on-site construction activities from excavation through project completion
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and deliveries
- Monitor project progress to ensure schedules and milestones are achieved
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control throughout each phase of construction
- Ensure compliance with building codes, municipal requirements, and company standards
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify deficiencies or safety concerns
- Enforce site safety policies and maintain a safe working environment
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation
- Track labour, materials, and site activities to support project budgets and timelines
- Communicate effectively with project managers, trades, consultants, and homeowners
- Resolve on-site issues and coordinate solutions to minimize project delays
- Maintain accurate site records, daily logs, and progress reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of residential construction experience, preferably in custom home building
- Proven experience supervising residential construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
- Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office is considered an asset
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence and reliable transportation
Pay: $80,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
