What You'll Do:
- Deliver exceptional, compassionate care to residents, following physician instructions and addressing individual needs.
- Monitor and report on residents’ symptoms and overall health conditions.
- Contribute to creating and refining personalized care plans for residents.
- Lead and supervise nursing staff and personal support workers in your assigned unit.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless operations and outstanding 24/7 care for all residents.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid RPN license from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Proven experience in caring for elderly residents.
- Knowledge of long-term care legislation and resident rights.
- Strong communication skills.
Bonus Points:
- 1 year of long-term care experience.
- Bilingual abilities.
- Excellent assessment skills.
- Certifications in areas like palliative care, wound management, fall prevention, and infection control.
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
