Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Body Technician/Painter to join our team. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition as well as prep and paint vehicles. This is a full-time position located in LLoydminster, AB.
Duties:
- Perform automotive repairs and restoration on vehicles
- Repair and replace damaged body parts, panels, and frames
- Prep vehicles for painting
- Perform paint jobs
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete repairs
- Conduct inspections to assess the extent of damage and develop repair plans
- Follow manufacturer guidelines and specifications for repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Auto Body Technician/Painter or in a similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes and techniques
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
