About the project
We are collecting RGB video and LiDAR depth data from 50-150 private Canadian homes to train navigation algorithms for a robotics client. Collection equipment (robot vacuum prototype with RGB + LiDAR sensors) is provided and shipped to you before project start.
Responsibilities
- Recruit and schedule households across apartment, detached, duplex, and multi-level housing types including family homes
- Collect signed consent forms before each session and ensure PIPEDA compliance across all sites
- Operate the collection device at each site per protocol; upload labeled data to our cloud storage
- Submit daily field reports and flag any data quality or equipment issues immediately
Requirements
- Based in Canada with own vehicle for local travel to participant homes
- Good to have but not mandatory- prior experience in field data collection, market research or anything relevant.
- Familiarity with PIPEDA and participant privacy obligations is an advantage
Pay: $750.00-$1,500.00 per week
