Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to support various operational tasks across our facility. . The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting warehouse distribution operations, including order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, be physically capable, adaptable, and committed to contributing to a productive work environment. Prior experience is a plus but not required, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and supplies
- Perform order picking, packing, and fulfillment tasks accurately to meet customer requirements.
- Operate equipment such as, forklifts, cranes, and other machinery to load, unload, and move materials safely within the warehouse.
- Manage shipping and receiving processes, including verifying shipments.
- Prepare work areas by cleaning and organizing tools and equipment
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery following safety protocols
- Perform general site cleanup to maintain a safe and efficient workspace
- Follow safety guidelines and report any hazards or incidents immediately
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Experience with shipping & receiving procedures, order picking, packaging, and order fulfillment.
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety procedures
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Reliable transportation or access to the work site is preferred
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as required
- Previous experience working with heavy equipment operation or in a warehouse environment is highly desirable.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
