Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced FOH Assistant Manager/Supervisor to join our vibrant restaurant team. This leadership role is ideal for someone with a strong background in food service, hospitality, and team management. The successful candidate will oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and support the overall success of the restaurant. Previous experience in restaurant management, food industry standards, and hospitality environments is highly valued. A passion for food preparation, cooking, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness will be essential to excel in this role.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff to deliver outstanding customer service
- Oversee food preparation and serving processes to ensure quality and efficiency
- Manage POS systems for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Assist with interviewing, hiring, and training new team members
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Monitor restaurant operations to maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
- Lead by example in hospitality excellence, including serving customers when needed
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction
- Support kitchen staff with coordination between front and back of house operations
- Manage team schedules, assign duties, and supervise performance to foster a positive work environment
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within the food service or restaurant industry
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety protocols
- Experience with POS systems
- Demonstrated leadership skills in restaurant management or hospitality settings
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and customer service excellence
- Previous roles involving team management, interviewing, and training staff
- Experience working in hotel or barista environments is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of food industry standards related to food handling, safety, and sanitation
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail

Pay: $41,000.00-$47,000.00 per year
