Overview
Unity Diagnostic Centre (UDC) is a fully licensed medical imaging clinic in Brampton offering X-Ray, Ultrasound, and Cardiac Imaging.
We are currently seeking an Obstetric Ultrasound Technologist (OB/GYN Focus) to join our growing ultrasound department. The ideal candidate is confident, patient-focused, and skilled in performing high-quality obstetric and gynecologic scans independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform OB/GYN ultrasound exams including dating, NT, anatomy, growth, and BPP scans
- Conduct pelvic, transvaginal, and prenatal studies following CMRITO and CPSO standards
- Ensure patient comfort and clearly explain procedures
- Capture accurate diagnostic images and maintain quality control
- Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians for timely, clear results
- Maintain documentation and ensure proper infection control and privacy compliance
- Support general ultrasound cases as needed (abdomen, small parts)
Qualifications
- Registered and in good standing with CMRITO
- ARDMS or Sonography Canada certification required
- Minimum 1 year of obstetric or general ultrasound experience preferred
- Solid understanding of fetal anatomy and scanning protocols
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
- Current CPR certification (asset)
