Long Point Eco-Adventures is seeking enthusiastic, hard-working and reliable individuals to join our team. Line/Prep Cooks will join our kitchen staff to prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner and catering for our guests. The successful applicant will possess a positive attitude, exceptional communication skills and will need to be on-time and reliable. A high level of desire to work as a team is essential to being a Long Point Eco-Adventures employee.

Line/Prep Cook responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Able to work early mornings, primarily for but not limited to, breakfast service.
- Work in a clean and efficient way.
- Perform opening, closing and cleaning tasks as instructed.
- Answer, report and follow up with Executive Chef and/or Sous Chef.
- Keep workspace, utensils, and equipment clean and sanitized.
- Maintain a positive attitude towards other kitchen staff and customers.
- Follow safe food handling procedures at all times.
- Report any issues/problems from any department to department heads, and/or managers when appropriate.
- Use positive, open and appropriate communication with all staff members.
- Act as an ambassador for Long Point Eco-Adventures both on and off site.
- Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications:
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
- Ability to multitask.
- Have knowledge of cooking and food preparation techniques.
- Has, or is willing to obtain, Food Handler’s Certificate.
- Have the ability to follow recipes.
- Cooking experience including prep cook or line cook is strongly recommended
- A strong work ethic, and positive attitude are a must.
- Knowledge of pizza making is an asset

Line/Prep Cooks are required to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment. All applicants must be available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays. Successful candidates will be contacted to set up an interview.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
