Experienced Sign & Vinyl Installation Technician
THE ROLE
This is a hands-on skilled production role in a commercial signage and graphics environment. You'll work with vinyl graphics, window film, vehicle wraps, and custom signage, helping produce and install high-quality finished products.
No previous vinyl installation experience is required—we're willing to train someone with the right attitude, strong mechanical aptitude, excellent hand skills, and a willingness to learn a specialized trade. PAY
- $20.00/hour to $35.00/hour+ 4% vacation pay depending on experience
- Wage increases available based on performance and skill development
SCHEDULE
- Monday to Friday
- 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Consistent attendance and punctuality required
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- Apply, trim, and finish vinyl graphics with precision
- Assist with vehicle wraps, including large commercial vehicles such as buses and transport trucks
- Install window film, decals, and custom signage
- Measure, cut, weed, and prepare vinyl materials for production
- Work with hand tools, measuring equipment, adhesives, films, and signage products daily
- Perform installations that may require working from ladders, elevated work platforms, and in tight or awkward positions
- Maintain an organized workspace while following quality and production standards
- Work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and craftsmanship are essential
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in vinyl installation, signage industry
- Enjoy hands-on work and have exceptional attention to detail
- Comfortable working at heights, including on ladders and elevated work platforms
- Able to work safely in awkward or confined positions while completing vehicle wraps and installations
- Comfortable performing repetitive hand tasks and standing for extended periods
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong hand-eye coordination and precision cutting ability
- Comfortable working with adhesives, dust, and shop materials
- Must not be colour blind (required for colour matching and quality control)
- Valid driver's license required
- Driver's abstract required
- Must pass a criminal background check
