Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of food safety standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, delivering delicious pizzas and exceptional service to our customers. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
Duties
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
- Handle food preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety protocols
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during meal preparation
- Ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining high quality standards
- Assist in inventory management by stocking ingredients and supplies as needed
- Serve customers at the counter or through take-out orders with professionalism and friendliness
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends and evenings if necessary
- Ability to handle food safely and responsibly, ensuring compliance with health regulations
