Overview
We are seeking another dedicated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning and restoring various materials and structures affected by water, fire, smoke, sewer, wind & mold damage, ensuring they meet quality standards, while adhering to strict safety requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail and a passion for helping people in a time of need, as well as problem solving skills and enjoy utilizing both hand tools and power tools to achieve outstanding results. Ticketed training provided upon completion of successful probationary period.
Responsibilities
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to restore damaged materials and structures.
- Clean surfaces and prepare areas for restoration work.
- Build and repair structures as needed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to assess damage and determine the best restoration methods.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the restoration process.
- Document progress and report any issues or concerns to supervisors.
- Heavy lifting will be required.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to join on-call rotation and work after-hours if required.
Experience
- Proven experience in cleaning, restoration, construction, or a related field is required.
- Valid BC Driver's License with clean driving abstract is REQUIRED.
- Familiarity with various hand tools and power tools used in restoration work.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- IICRC Certification in WRT, FSRT, OCT, ASD is a huge benefit and will be reflected in pay rate.
- Worksafe BC Asbestos removal ticket is a huge benefit and will be reflected in pay rate.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
