Landscape Construction Foreman (Hands-On, 10+ Years Hardscape Experience)
We are a well-established, year-round landscape construction company based in Maple Ridge, BC, and we are seeking a hands-on Landscape Construction Foreman with 10+ years of proven hardscape experience. This role is ideal for someone who can lead by example, manage complex builds, and maintain high standards of craftsmanship.
What You’ll Lead and Build:
Retaining walls (all systems)
Paving stone patios, driveways, and walkways
Water features, ponds, and streams
Artificial turf installation
Garden and planting projects
Low-voltage lighting (supported by a dedicated lighting and irrigation crew)
Irrigation coordination and troubleshooting
Fiberglass pool installations and pool-area construction
Wood structures including pergolas, decks, and fencing
Site grading, drainage, and layout
Excavator and skid steer operation (major asset)
Work Type:
80–90% residential construction
10–20% commercial projects
Winter maintenance including salting and snow clearing (experience is an asset)
What We’re Looking For:
10+ years of hands-on landscape construction and hardscape experience
Strong leadership skills with the ability to run crews and maintain project flow
Experience managing or assisting with fiberglass pool installs
Working knowledge of irrigation and lighting to coordinate with specialized crews
Ability to read plans, set grades, and solve on-site challenges
Positive attitude, reliable work ethic, and pride in workmanship
Physically capable of lifting 80+ lbs and working in all weather conditions
Class 5 driver’s licence required; Class 1 or 3 is a major asset
Ability to get to the yard or first job site at the start of the day
Company vehicle provided once established in the role

About the Role:
This is a senior, hands-on foreman position. You will work directly with the crew while coordinating materials, equipment, schedules, and quality control. You will also collaborate with our specialized irrigation and lighting team to keep projects running smoothly. Winter maintenance responsibilities may be included during the colder months. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, communicates clearly, and thrives in a team-oriented environment.
