Job Summary
The Project Coordinator supports Project Managers and Superintendents by handling the day-to-day administrative and logistical work that keeps construction projects on schedule and on budget. This is an entry-level role, ideal for someone early in a construction management or project management career who wants hands-on exposure to how projects are run from preconstruction through closeout.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, contracts, and daily reports.
- Assist Project Managers with scheduling, budget tracking, and procurement of materials and subcontractor services.
- Prepare, distribute, and file purchase orders and vendor/subcontractor paperwork.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings; take and distribute meeting minutes; track follow-up action items.
- Communicate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to relay project updates and resolve routine issues.
- Track project progress against schedule and budget, and flag potential delays or overruns to the Project Manager.
- Support permit applications, inspection scheduling, and compliance documentation.
- Assist with project billing, invoicing, and closeout documentation.
- Conduct occasional site visits to support coordination between the office and field teams.
Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in construction, project coordination, or a related administrative role; internships count.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Projects)
- Comfortable working both in an office setting and visiting active job sites.
- Valid driver's license

Pay: $56,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
