Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host or Hostess to join our team at Namaste Bistro Fredericton. Located in Fredericton, this role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensuring smooth seating operations. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive and manage reservations efficiently.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
- Maintain a clean and organized host station.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure timely seating.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Manage reservation systems and waitlists.
- Uphold the restaurant’s standards of guest service and hospitality.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
- Knowledge of reservation systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
- Availability to work flexible hours as needed.
