Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic FOH (Front of House) Manager to lead our hospitality team in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food service knowledge, and a passion for creating a welcoming environment. This role involves supervising staff, managing daily restaurant functions, and maintaining high standards of food safety and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front-of-house operations, including seating, serving, and customer interactions
- Supervise and motivate staff to deliver outstanding food service and hospitality experiences
- Manage team scheduling, interviewing, and training to ensure efficient coverage and staff development
- Handle cash transactions accurately using Micros POS systems and ensure proper cash handling procedures
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling protocols
- Assist in food preparation and cooking when necessary to support team needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area in accordance with health regulations
- Address guest concerns promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with kitchen management to coordinate service flow and resolve operational issues
- Lead by example in professionalism, hospitality, and leadership within the restaurant environment
Qualifications
- Proven supervising or team management experience within the food service or restaurant industry
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards
- Experience with POS systems such as Toast or similar platforms
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs effectively
- Leadership qualities with experience in interviewing, training, and developing staff
- Familiarity with restaurant management operations including cash handling and hospitality best practices
- Previous experience in hotel or barista roles is a plus but not required
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor

Pay: $39,537.64-$68,080.29 per year
