We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Career Coach to support individuals in achieving their professional goals. Duties
- Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions to assess clients’ career interests, strengths, and development needs
- Assist clients with resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies
- Facilitate workshops on topics such as positive mindset, successful interviewing techniques, professional communication and setting and achieving goals.
- Identify community employment opportunities and resources
- Track client progress and adjust coaching strategies accordingly to ensure goal achievement
- Provide ongoing support and motivation to help clients overcome barriers to employment or career advancement
Skills
- Background in Recruiting, Teaching, Interviewing, and Training & Development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse populations
- Ability to assess individual needs and develop customized coaching plans
- Experience in conducting workshops or group training sessions
- Empathy, patience, and motivational skills to inspire confidence in clients
- Organizational skills for managing multiple client cases simultaneously
- Knowledge of current employment trends, labor market information, and available resources for job seekers
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and computer skills
