An innovative Toronto-based canine exercise business with significant expansion plans, is seeking a unique resourceful pack leader for two-hour off-leash pack walks (average 12 - 15 dogs) in a private forest outside the city.
This person is comfortable with dogs of all sizes, and wants to learn more about dog behavior, needs, drives, and how to bring out the best in them. This person needs to be able to work under pressure and have a common sense approach to situations at hand. This job can be difficult but rewarding.
This person must be physically fit and in good health, enjoy nature year-round, be a good communicator, keen to learn, prompt, able to work independently and problem-solve.
An Ontario driver’s license with a clean driving record is required, as well as an ability to drive in city, highway, and back-road in all conditions (vehicle is supplied).
Training, supervision, and ongoing learning are provided in a supportive team environment.
Experience is preferred but not essential for the right individual who wants to learn.
First Pet Aid preferred.
Hours are 7:30am – 3:30pm approx., Monday to Friday. Weekends as needed.
This is a full-time position, therefore cannot employ part-time students.
This is a long-term position - we require at least a years commitment.
